      WILKINSON Kathleen We sadly announce that Kathleen passed away peacefully on the 18th May aged 94 years. Loving wife of the late Herbert, special mum to Brian and June, treasured grandma, sister, aunt and a good friend to many. A funeral servicice will take place on Wednesday 1st June 10am, at Woodlands Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations to the British Legion may be left following the service or sent to Ashby Funeral Care, 174 Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe, DN16 2JR. Telephone 01724 841112.

      SCOTTER 'GROOM AT MESSINGHAM The marriage took place at Messingham Holy Trinity Church of Mr. Herbert Wilkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson, of The Green, Spotter, and Miss Kathleen Browna, W. daughter Brown, of of Mr.

      High- and field Farm, Messingham. The bride was given away by her father and wore a forget-me-not blue two-piece in moss crepe, with navy accessories and a spray of pink chrysanthemums. I She was attended by Miss B. Staniland, in a pale blue dress of moss crepe with navy accessories, and Miss J. Eminson, in dusky pink moss crepe, with nigger brown accessories.

      Both wore sprays of pink chrysanthemums. Best man was Mr. Frank Newmen, and groomsmen were Mr. Frank Lea and Mr. Fred Stainton.

      A reception was held in the Messing Co-operative Hall. The bride wore a travelling suit of blue, worn under a camel coat, with navy accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson will live at 1, Hampton-road, Scunthorpe.
